I was the acting project manager and designer for the project. In collaboration with a co-worker, we spent considerable time understanding the scope and domain knowledge needed to grasp the problem and produced an interface to support those needs. I also acted as a mentor to two developers on the team who had never done backend development before, and guided the team through usability testing and process changes.

Finding up-to-date information that is essential to performing your job is incredibly important. My company needed a solution that allowed employees to easily and quickly find the information they need to do their job correctly, as it relates to processes and procedures. I was tasked with leading an effort to solve this problem because the current solution was hard to find, use, and was very limited.
